A good marine single draw telescope, signed around the draw tube, ‘Wellington, Crown Court, Soho, London’, measuring 35.25″ fully drawn and 20″ closed with an objective lens of 1.5″. This sunrecorder was stolen out my shop on the 22th marz of 2008 and came back in my collection because it was in an Auction by Derksen Auctions in feb 2022. ~GOOD, LARGE MoP (NACRE) AND SILVER MAGNIFIER-FOLDING~

A good example of a nacre (Mother of Pearl) and silver magnifying glass (loupe) with fantastic iridescent sheen, three securing mounts (ornate clam shell design) and hinge point. No damage at all to the lens (5-10 X magnification) with a small bubble in the biconvex lens (see photo). A Skin-Grafting and Iredectomy Scissors by Ferris

A nicely cased pair of skin-grafting scissors by Ferris & Co, working in Bristol,England, C1870-1880s. They are sometimes referred to as “Reverdin Scissors”, after the Swiss doctor, Jacques-Louis Reverdin (1842- 1929), who pioneered skin grafting. He has been credited by some with having accomplished what was effectively the  first organ transplant.
