A very rare copy of the new surveying instruments invented and developped by Lenoir fils from 1818 to 1823 and exhibited by the Lenoir firm during the Exposition publique des produits de l’industrie française in 1823.

In the present 3-pages booklet, Lenoir describes a repeating circle of 44cm diameter with two telescope and used by the French governement for the French’s coast ; in 1820 a circle-level ; in 1821 a level-repeating circle ; in 1823 a circle surveyor compass ; in 1823 a surveyor planchette with sight ; in 1818 and 1823, a new French theodolite ; in 1820 some sextants ; in 1820 a barometer ; in 1819, the slide rule and finally a astronomical repeating circle or astronomical transit.
On the blank last page, some manuscript note not in relation with the Lenoir’s work.
