Description
An extremely rare example Herman Snellen’s Scotometer. In fact the only other example I’ve seen is the one in den Tonkelaar et al’s EYE AND INSTRUMENTS (1996)–see third image. “It was used for the determination of the size and depth of a defect in the central visual field.” Length: 9.5″ or 24 cms approx.
