Signed Simple Aquatic Microscope by Jean-Andrien Deleuil.  C. 1850’s.  Microscope is signed “Deleuil”.  The arm with the attached eyepiece and stage both move in aquatic motion (pivot left and right).  Focusing is accomplished by moving stage using knob.   The stage is missing the glass.   The single-sided mirror is in fair to good condition, with the mirror cloudy but no cracks.   Accessories include three additional eyepieces in case.  Case is in very good condition.  Removal of the microscope from the case only involves loosening the knob on the back of the case adjacent to the pillar that attaches to the case. Microscope stands 7” (1.7 cm) tall attached to the case.   Case dimensions are 7.25” (18.4 cm) long, 4” (10.1 cm) wide and 1.75” (4.4 cm) deep.
