Signed J.H. Steward Microscope with case and accessories.   Accessories include eyepiece and two objectives both objectives with a brass case.   One of the two objectives is mounted on the microscope.  The objective cases have sizes ¼ in and 1 ½ inch.  Microscope is signed” J.H. Steward 106 Strand London”.  Case has key and lock, but lock is detached but could be reattached with brass screws.  Also, striker plate is missing.  Microscope stands about 16 inches tall when fully extended (40.6 cm).  Case dimensions are 6 inches x 7.25 inches x 13.5 inches (15.2 cm x 18.4 cm x 34.3cm).  A piece of the case has become detached and can be seen in the last image.   It appears that it would hold one of the live box slides.  Focusing works fine as does the X-Y stage control knobs.  The silvering on the mirror is in good condition.
