Description

S superb dental enamel scraper or chisel, also known as a minor bone surgery scraper, made of steel with a turned ivory and silver handle. The instrument is kept in its case made of boiled cardboard covered with stamped leather.

A break in the ivory handle and the long part of the case is damaged, with loss of leather and cardboard, over several centimeters.

This type of instrument was used to clean teeth and remove tartar or damaged enamel.

The instrument measures 8.2cm in length and the case 9.3cm.
