Rare collection of electricity photographs/spark photographs from the same archive, France, circa 1890

Fourteen gelatin-silver bromide prints, eleven of which mounted on cardboard (print sizes from 22x17cm to 9.5x6cm)

 

Rare set produced by the same and only photographer, remaining anonymous, of fourteen photographs of electricity or electric spark.

The set consists of:

-nine so-called Trouvelot figures, that is to say direct photographs of the electric spark, negative pole.

-four direct photographs of spark, positive pole.

-a last one that is barely readable.

More or less faded prints but rare homogeneous set of scientific photography.
