Description

Miniature lacquered brass sextant of just 3 inch radius, the silver arc reads from -5 to 150 and the vernier to 1 arc minute. All original lacquer is intact, the two mirrors are good. The is a revolving light aperture stop for sighting: three coloured filters and one open pin-hole sight.

Signed, ‘Cary, London’.

No chewed screw heads, dents or knocks.

Very nice condition throughout.

Contained in original mahogany case (lock missing).
