Description
The box contains a boxwood square and two boxwood rules. The scales on the rules range between 20 and 60 with matching offsets. Manufactured by W Cox Devonport. It has an additional name Charles Schofield, who was probably the owner. One offset has a chip on one edge

I served my Scientific Instrument Making Apprenticeship with W F Stanley and expanded my expertise in other companies. I have manufactured, restored, bought and sold scientific instruments for 63 years and I am still active in the business. In 1976 I opened a shop in Bermondsey, London and then went on to trade in the Portobello Road, now I am only selling online. I am a founder member of the SIS Society.
