Description

Signed on the foot, ‘J. Swift & Son, 81 Tottenham Court Rd, London’ with 4.5 inch circular glass covered stage with brass slide holder, large sub stage diaphragm and 6 cm plano concave mirror. There is rack and pinion focus to the binocular tube and also the eye-pieces.

The case appears to have a home made wooden structure to hold a microscope slide case which has been converted and holds:

1″      Swift objective in canister.

A nose-piece prism.

Bertrand objective in canister.
