Description

A great set of glass prosthetic eyes, from France, I’d guess ca. 1940-1950’s.
A set of 56 glass eyes of exceptional quality, including also 5 very rare small prosthetic eyes for children and several glass eyes in a preliminary step, before being customized with the “right” coloured iris (consistent with the colour of the eyes left).
Including in the set also some very rare sticks with codified colours of the iris and 2 glass tools to design the prosthesis.
In overall great condition, I can only notice 2 small irises missing on a stick, a small tool (a forceps?) and the hand of the box missed.
Measurements of the box: 31 x 30 x 6 cm.
The box is marked in gilded letters on the box “R.A. Dudragne – Paris, Protheses Oculaire”
