Description
Extending to half a meter, this fine late Georgian drawing instrument has seen little use. All original bright golden lacquer, fine machining of the brasswork, numbered extension arm for distance from subject, perfect prism with light reducing shade, checkered C clamp with tightening screw. Can articulate/rotate to any position above a table or desktop. Found in it’s original red card case with purple velvet liner, tooled and decorative top, both hooks and hinges intact (a little scuffed from storage). c.1830.
