Description

To be inserted into the eyepiece hole of any RMS Victorian (English) microscope, this fine instrument shows little use. Everything intact, bright spectral lines from the multiple internal prisms, not a screw out of place or missing, original lacquer. Minor rust on the large blued steel stage clips and one minor loss of lacquer on the body tube. Signed “John Browning, London” in flowing script, this model never had the micrometer eyepiece/mirror attachment seen in later models. No sample tubes or case, just the very fine, original, special attachment.
