A fine cased six inch diameter, engine divided, circular single arm protractor by W. & S. Jones with vernier and pin. 360 degrees in half degree increments. Vernier reads to a tenth of a degree. Finely engraved. Nice signature. c.1800.
Rarely if ever used. Near perfect lacquer. In green baise lined mahogany case with booth hooks and eyes present(7 x 6 1/2 inches, 17.5 x 16 cm.)
