Description
A reticulated steel medical knife with a bleeder blade. Length: 3.5″ or 9cm. Some wear to blades but o/w in very good condtion. Blades snap firmly into the body of the knife. The Dallemagne Collection in Rouen has several similar knives and they are shown in Dallemagne, DECORATIVE ANTIQUE IRONWORK (Dover, 1968:388)–see last image. They date the knifes: “Seventeen and eighteenth centuries”
