Well preserved early 19th Centruy dry card ship’s compass in wooden bowl of buxwood with wooden lid. On the rose with 32 points, with the name of the maker in the center, “D. Stalker – Leith” ( situated by Edinburgh, Scotland). North with beautiful fleur de lis as well. The inside of the compass is painted white and the glass is fixed with original putty. Diameter 11cm and in perfect condition.
