Description

Antique Negretti & Zambra monocular microscope made in London, England circa 1870 in excellent condition. This device comes in a mahogany wooden case and is accompanied by 2 eyepieces and 3 objetives, all original. The microscope is entirely made of brass. Mechanically it works fine, making it possible to watch samples. At the back of the foot we can see a complete hand-engraved inscription with the manufacturer’s name, NEGRETTI & ZAMBRA, LONDON. As well as the eyepieces and the lenses, the set includes a live-box and an upper moving stage. The mahogany storing case is the original one and remains in very good condition, being perfect to protect and transport the microscope and the accessory set.
