SOLD – The stem of the microscope is fixed to the bottom of the case with a knuckle joint allowing the user to fold, tilt the microscope to almost any position.
Signed, ‘Dollond, London’, the stage is moved by rack and pinion. The body tube screws into the top of the small bar limb while the bottom of the limb can be fitted with the single objective lens or the small wheel of objective lenses. The wheel of objective lenses are of different size and are marked 1,2, 3 and 4.
Other accessories are: stage forceps, live box, glass stage insert, 1″ lieberkuhn ( screws onto underside of limb), container holding spring clips for microscope slides, adjustment tool for tightening the knuckle joint.
The sub-stage mirror has a small purpose made hole in the centre and may be a replacement. There is a crack to the lid and a small loss to an outside corner. Lacking bone slides and key to the case.
The case measures 8.75″ x 6.25″ ( 22 x 15.5 cm ).
