Description
Cased Thury & Amey Microscope and Micrometres. C. 1876, there are a few accessories with microscope, other than what is already mounted on the microscope, including the key (lock does not function) and an objective. Coarse focusing works smoothly. The unique stage functions smoothly in all directions. The substage mirror is only one sided, with a white disc on the other side. Both are in good condition. The body tube/support pillar rotate at the base. Microscope stands 12.25 “(31.1 cm) tall at minimum height. Case dimensions are 13.25” (33.6 cm) tall, 7.75” (19.7 cm) wide and 8” (20.3 cm) deep. Case is in fair condition with the back of the case being loose on three sides and almost acts as another door. In addition, the accessory drawer supports came off from the case, so the accessory drawer sits inside case. The case defects are shown in attached images.
