Description

Cased and Unsigned Cary/Gold type Microscope C. mid 1800’s.  Microscope has a few accessories including one objective, several slides, tweezers, and small brush.  Body tube does move left and right as well as forward and backward fairly smoothly.  Focusing is achieved by rack and pinion that moves the stage and this also works well.   Substage Double-sided mirrors are in very good condition.   Microscope stands 13” tall mounted on case at minimum height.  Case is in very good condition but one of the clasps that holds the lid closed has broken off but is in the case.   Case dimensions are: 6.75” (17.1 cm) long, and 5.25” (13.3 cm) wide.
