Description

Cased and signed Plossl Microscope.   Microscope has no accessories other than what is on the microscope.  The top of the limb that contains the body tube is signed:” Plossl Wien”.  The single-sided substage mirror is in fair to good condition.   Case is in very good condition.  I am unable to date the microscope any more accurate than pre-1868.  Microscope stands 9.5” (24.1 cm) tall.  Case dimensions are 10.75” (27.3 cm) long, 3.5” (8.8 cm) wide and 3.75” (9.5 cm) deep.  As a note, the lid of the case does slide out and is not broken.
