Cased and Signed Nachet “Microscope petit modele droit” microscope.   Microscope is signed:” Nachet Et Fils 17 rue Saint Severin”.  Eyepiece mounted on microscope is marked with a 3.  The scope mounted objective is marked with a 5.  Accessories in the case are 2 concave/convex lenses and a small leather or leatherette covered case containing two objectives marked 1 and 3.  The single sided concave mirror is in good condition and is mounted on a pivoting and swiveling arm that works smoothly.   In addition, there is a diaphragm wheel mounted on underside of the stage.  The coarse and fine focusing work well.  This microscope dates to approximately 1862-1872.  The case is in very good condition.  The microscope stands 10” (25.4 cm) tall at minimum height.  The case dimensions are 10.75 “ (27.3 cm) long, 6.75 “ (17.1 cm) wide and almost 4.5 “ (11.4 cm) deep.
