Description
A Brendel flower model of the lilac or Syringa Vulgaris of wood and plaster. This botanical model no.37 in the Brendel catalogue depicts the blossom 14 times enlarged, the flower crown is to lift from the calyx.
The syringa model arises from a black turned ebony stand with a blue paper label of the Brendel firm giving description in different languages. The model is set in a turned wooden socket.
In fine condition.
