Description

A large binocular brass microscope measuring 15 inches high racked down. The draw tubes have coarse and fine focus wheels with additional thumb wheels to focus the eyepieces. It has  4.25″ circular stage which can be turned almost 360 degrees along with a stage platform with X and Y movement. All thumb wheels move freely without issues. There’s a large 2.5 inch plano / concave mirror and the stand is engraved, ‘John Browning. 63 Strand, London. 823’.

The mahogany accessory case holds an additional pair of eyepieces, a nose piece prism, sub stage prism holder and collar, 1/4″ John Browning correction collar, 1/10″ Swift & Son objective, 2″ J. Swift & Son objective along with another 2″ objective, all in canisters. There is a 2″ bulls eye glass in holder but lacking stand.

The case mahogany case measures 16.5″ x 10″ x 7.5″ with handle and lock (lacking the small catch).
