Description

A three draws marine telescope made of brass and mahogany. It is signed with a large decorative signature “Bleuler London”. John Bleuler was active in London between 1790 and 1827.

The objective is achromatic.

The instrument measures 23.3cm folded, 75.5cm unfolded and 4.7cm in diameter.

Perfect working condition, complete with its cap.

Traces of oxidation on the rings of the draws and tiny cracks in the mahogany, otherwise perfect original condition.
