Description
A very fine example of this classic from the production of Oberheauser and his successor Edmund Hartnack, a small drum microscope which screws onto its mahogany box.
This model is signed on the tube: “E. Hartnack sucr de G. Oberhaeuser, Place Dauphine 21, Paris”. The serial number, engraved on the box, is 4332. So the microscope can be dated around 1860.
The microscope is in perfect condition. It preserves two eyepieces numbers 2 and 3 and his triplet of achromatic lenses.
In addition, the microscope also preserved a forceps and three dissection instruments with ebony handles.
Everything can be stored in its original wooden box: 23x10x6cm.
