A late 19th-century “JOHN WEISS & SON LTD” advertising letter opener. Probably offered as a good- will gift to their regular customers. Weiss moved to 287 Oxford St, London, in 1889.They subsequently relocated to 11 Wigmore St. They are currently based in Milton Keynes.
