Description
A good, unsigned 7/8 inch diameter OG, 3 draw, 4 element brass pocket telescope with flawless ray skin (shagreen) barrel. Extending to 14 inches, this early example (c.1810) exhibits excellent optics. OG lens cap and hinged ocular lens covers. Used but not abused, the draws are tight and the brass knurling is very early and fine. No dents or bruises of the ends or draws. 5 inches closed length.
