Description
A ca. 1860 rare Ferdinand Ernecke (1832-1914) optical eye model, made in Berlin (Germany).
This instrument was used for demonstrating the difference between nearsightedness (myopia) and farsightedness (hyperopia). The 2 lens are missed.
Wood pedestal and brass, stand ca. 19 cm in height.
Under the wooden base there’s a worned paper label, with handwritten “Jo.. Men…”.
