A large and fine pair of 18th century wrought iron French dividers with distinctive heart motif.
Large (15 inch / 38.3cm) wrought iron dividers of the type used in stone masonry or carpentry. The square head features heart pendants and the legs are file worked with geometric motifs surrounding a heart shaped void. Signed ML. In excellent condition with fine patina, fully functional.
A beautiful example of 18th century French blacksmithing.
