Our story
Boris Jardine, Director of Fleaglass
Fleaglass was launched in 2007, offering a unique platform for dealers and collectors interested in all aspects of science and technology. Fleaglass’ founder, Matt Nunn, is now Science Specialist at Flints Auctioneers. In 2008 Matt went into partnership with antique instrument expert Keith Petts, and the two worked together to maintain and develop a rapidly growing website, with the central priority of maintaining its reputation for quality antiques, accurately described, and sold with unparalleled customer service.
In 2018 Boris Jardine took over the site. Boris brings more than twenty years’ experience in the world of antique scientific instruments. He has worked as a curator, book dealer and historian of science, with a special expertise in the earlyhistory of the scientific instrument trade.
The site continues to grow and change. We welcome new dealers, including collectors who would like to start selling as well as buying. We are also keen to hear from you if you have antique instruments or technological artefacts and you are unsure what to do with them. We can guide you to the right dealer, or even offer them on commission on Fleaglass.
