Van Leest Antiques
Van Leest Antiques, based in Utrecht in the Netherlands, specialises in antique scientific and medical instruments. Their collection covers mainly scientific and medical antique instruments: barometers, globes and planataria, nautical instruments, anatomical models, and pharmacy items. Toon Van Leest travels regularly in Europe and visits trade fairs, auctions, and antique dealers to collect stock and to find pieces to fulfil his clients' unusual requests.
As well as being an avid antique collector and dealer, Toon Van Leest is also a dentist. He believes that antiques are a stable investment, not reliant on trends or fashion, and have truly lasting value. Above all, he says, antiques are timeless and never lose their beauty. |

Roger Waldron
We have been trading in early scientific instruments, early technology and quality engineering models for 25years. Our stock ranges from delicate and rare Geissler tubes to full size stationary engines. Since the closure of our shop near Stratford on Avon in 2001 we have dealt with clients on an individual basis also acting as agents, providing condition reports and attending auctions. We also stand at the National Vintage Communications Fair and the Antique Science and Early Technology Fair. Fletcher Wallis
Fletcher Wallis sells objects and books relating to the history of science, medicine and technology from his unit at The Admiral Vernon Arcade Portobello Road. He publishes books through Vernier Press, including Antique Medicine Chests, and Corkscrew Patents from 1795. He has been dealing for thirty years. |

Toby Whitfeld
I first started selling vintage cameras in Camden Town, London in 1981, then moved to Portobello Rd in 1985, where I started adding scientific instruments to my stock. I also exhibited at the Scientific Instrument Fair in London in the 1990's, but left the UK to live in Southern France in the year 2000. I started trading again in 2009, and since then I have been sourcing items in France and UK for clients here in Perpignan and back in UK. |

Wissenschaftliches Kabinett
The Wissenschaftliches Kabinett is based in the inner city of Vienna, Austria and was established in 1988 by Dr. Max Weber. It was taken over in 2001 by Simon Weber-Unger who specializes in antique scientific and natural history antiques. The Wissenschaftliches Kabinett Simon Weber-Unger exhibits at the Hofburg Antique Fair in Vienna, the Residenz Antique Fair in Salzburg, the antique scientific instrument fair in London and at antique fairs in Zurich and Munich. Simon Weber-Unger is the head of the antique scientific instrument department and antique camera department at the auction house Dorotheum in Vienna and has published articles about scientific instruments in several magazines. |
